23.07.2011 - Win in Div. 6 at Rally Baden-Württemberg (German Championship)
At their DRM debute, the 4th round of the German Rally Championship, the ADAC Rally Baden-Württemberg, Valentin Hummel and Katja Geyer could record a sensational win in Div. 6 and a 20th place overall. In the most contested class, the Diesel division, both were able to prevail against their 13 competitors from the HJS Diesel Masters and placed the current leader Björn Mohr/Oliver Becker with 6 seconds ahead on rank 2. As guests at the service park of HJS Diesel Masters both had been looking forward to exciting duels in the diesel division and they should not be disappointed...
Although, the rally was highly turbulent due to changing weather conditions and some high-speed special stages. On Friday the weather forced the organizers to change the routing, whereupon the first SS was shortened due to the continuing rain and was driven as a sprint rather than a circuit. At the first four SSs during the first section the team shared the best times with B. Mohr / O. Becker and launched on Saturday on P18 in the overall standings to the next section, this time on rain tires.

As during the day the sun finally came out, they dreached on the additional 10 SSs eight best times and both teams were fighting by tenths of seconds for the division win.
